The Education Grant assists students from underprivileged families during their first three years of tertiary education.
The Medical Grant assists vulnerable individuals facing financial hardship in accessing necessary medical treatment, primarily in public hospitals.
The Welfare Grant provides assistance to individuals and families facing financial crises or emergency situations, helping to safeguard their overall well-being.

Prepare the application form along with all required supporting documents
A dedicated Caritas representative will be assigned to review and follow up on your case.
Your application will be carefully assessed by the parish Caritas team and the parish priest.
The parish will recommend eligible applications to Caritas Penang for a final review.
Once a final decision is made, the parish team will notify you of the approved application.
Priority is given to students whose household income is below MYR 2,000 per month.
Priority is given to studies that promote vocational and technical competency, including: air-conditioning servicing, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, machining, plumbing, mass communication, creative/graphic design, computer servicing, physiotherapy, nursing, and other competency-oriented fields.
Institution: Grants are for study at local institutions only (public or private). Overseas studies are not eligible.
The maximum grant amount is MYR 3,000 per year.
For subsequent calendar years, the student’s examination results will be reviewed prior to further grant disbursement.
Priority is given to differently-abled individuals (OKU) and those with a family income below MYR 3,000.
Priority is given to treatments costing below MYR 5,000.
Priority is given to those seeking initial treatment in public hospitals, or those who have already made an effort to seek assistance from healthcare organizations such as government hospitals/clinics, dialysis centres, AIDS centres, hospices or other NGOs.
Welfare aid provides a minimal level of well-being and social support during times of crisis.
Because the scope of welfare aid is broad, an official evaluation sheet is utilized to help our teams make an informed, equitable decision regarding the assistance that can be provided.
