How Caritas is structured?
Caritas is Church.
Caritas is an essential part of the Church and it “institutionalizes love in the Church”. Not only does it share its mission, but it is also an ordered service to the community. Caritas works with the poor, vulnerable, and excluded, regardless of race or religion. This work requires professional competence as well as a “Formation of Heart” which testifies to a faith expressed through charity.

Caritas works with the church to mobilise believers, men, and women of goodwill. We are embedded in local communities through the churches and prioritise long-term development programs for those suffering, to enlighten society towards greater solidarity, fraternity, and justice.
