Caritas Church of Sacred Heart Kulim reached out to visit the poor families and bless them with food hampers.

Parish Priest and parishioners from Church of St. Anthony Nibong Tebal reached out to students in primary school.

Church of Sacred Heart Kampar visits their migrant parishioners every year during Lent and celebrate mass in their villages. Most of them live very far away from church and deep in the plantation, so by visiting them, the priest is able bring Jesus to them, and them to Jesus.

Blood donation is an act of mercy, but not everyone can donate blood due to health restriction. Many patients in the hospital are in need of our blood donation to survive. By giving generously our blood while enduring slight pain can help hospital to save life of others.

Crime among school students is on the rise. Church of St Anthony Nibong Tebal noticed the social issue, together with Penang Diocesan Prison Ministry they organised an awareness talk to help youths and their parents better understand the problem and ways to act when they experience crime.

Catechists and Catechism students from Church of Risen Christ Ayer Itam visited the HIV patients at Mercy Home. They were given an awareness talk on what is HIV and how to prevent this disease from spreading. Understand HIV/AIDS is important for everyone so that we may know how to treat HIV patients with care and love and at the same time give them the dignity of a child of God.

Woman group from Cathedral of Holy Spirit host a fundraising activity to sell foods on the 5th Sunday of Lent. They did this for the poor and the sick who are currently receiving treatment at Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital and Persatuan Kebajikan Haemodialisis St Anne BM. A total of RM17000 was raised, the money will be sending to the social mission groups mentioned above as part of Lenten almsgiving.

Church of St Joseph Bagan Serai organised a Lenten formation for the parishioners. Fr Stanley Anthony gave a talk to help everyone to grow spiritually. It is important for Catholics to understand that God is spirit and when we worship God we must worhip him in spirit and truth.

Caritas Church of Divine Mercy together with Fr Mark from Kuala Kangsar went on a mission to visit the Catholic parishioners who are of Orang Asli descendants. They spent time together in Mass, fellowship, sharing stories and playing fun activities together. Lent is a time for us to remember our brothers and sisters who are far away and share our foods and hopes with them.

Parish Priest Fr Arul sets a good example for the parishioners by bringing the youths to visit the sick and needy together. Youths helped giving rations while their priest prayed for the sick and gave holy communion to those who can’t come to the church.

Love Squad Team organised a clean up event nearby the area of Church of Our Lady of Good Health. Youths came forward to cleanup their surrounding neighbourhood.
